We are seeking a Part-Time Catering Party Chef whose skills, discipline, and passion for cuisine align with the standards found in world-class kitchens. This role offers the opportunity for expanded hours and full-time availability during our peak seasons.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is a chef who values impeccable technique, consistency, and attention to detail. This position involves executing thoughtfully designed menus, maintaining flawless mise en place, and presenting dishes with the finesse expected in a high-performance culinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute menu items with precision, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to quality
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of mise en place to ensure seamless event execution
  • Participate in on-site event setup, service, and breakdown with polished professionalism
  • Uphold exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety, and kitchen organization
  • Ensure plating and presentation align with Bourassa Catering's elevated aesthetic
  • Collaborate with the culinary and event teams to deliver a cohesive, memorable guest experience

Requirements

  • Experience in catering, fine dining, or high-end culinary environments strongly preferred
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules
  • Strong culinary fundamentals: knife skills, timing, organization, and efficiency
  • Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Professional demeanor, strong communication, and a commitment to excellence
  • Passion for hospitality and a genuine respect for ingredients, craft, and service

Compensation

  • Starting at $25/hour, with additional compensation commensurate with experience, skill, and performance
