About The Role
The Business Systems Analyst II plays a critical role in turning insights into impactful solutions at Hoffmaster Group. You'll work cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable processes, systems, and tools, enabling operational excellence across the organization. From analyzing workflows to implementing system enhancements, you'll help drive digital transformation and empower teams with better ways of working.

What You'll Do

• Lead discovery efforts by conducting interviews and workshops to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements and system documentation.
• Analyze processes and technology, identify gaps and opportunities, and propose data-driven solutions that align with business goals.
• Create business requirements, specifications, use cases, and process flows to support system enhancements and new initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT, project managers, vendors, and end-users to ensure seamless execution and strong alignment across teams.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for key systems, guiding solution design and best practices.
• Support testing efforts by creating test plans, developing scripts, and validating system performance.
• Deliver training, documentation, and post-launch support to ensure adoption and success.
• Troubleshoot issues and continuously evaluate system performance to drive improvement.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role, including requirements gathering, process documentation, and systems support.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, bridging business and technical teams effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, MS Project, and other BA tools.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to quality.
