Coker Rental is continuing to grow across East Tennessee, and we're looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team.

As a local, family-owned, and rapidly expanding equipment rental company, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable machines, honest service, and true relationship-based business. From telehandlers, skid steers, excavators, and boom lifts to dumpster rentals, our ability to support contractors keeps us in high demand — and we're ready to add another motivated sales professional to help expand our reach.

What This Role Involves

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, builders, landscapers, and local businesses

• Conducting job-site visits and recommending the right rental solutions and why we are the preferred rental company.

• Selling across both equipment rentals and dumpster services

• Generating new business while supporting existing accounts.

• Managing a territory with daily outreach, follow-ups, networking, and customer relationships via meetings, lunches, and phone calls.

• Working closely with our operations team to ensure customers get what they need, when they need it with excellent customer service.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Self-motivated, competitive, and goal oriented

• Experience in sales (equipment or construction industry preferred)

• Someone who enjoys being out in the field and talking with customers meeting office managers.
