Executive Chef - FT / On-site (Boise, ID)

Locally owned boutique restaurant group seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across our distinct, established concepts in the heart of downtown Boise. This role is ideal for a creative culinary leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and has the ability to lead influence over menus, culture, and growth.

What You'll Do

• This is not just a supervisory position, you will need to be hands on as well. You will be on the line sometimes, expo sometimes, prep sometimes, help get line crews through busy times. You will need to cover shifts at times.
• Oversee all back-of-house operations across all our kitchens.
• Lead, mentor, and develop kitchen teams while fostering a positive, professional culture.
• Drive menu development, seasonal updates, specials, and integrity of brand standards.
• Manage food costs, inventory systems, vendor relationships, and kitchen efficiency – P & L responsibilities.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, cleanliness and consistency.
• Partner closely with ownership on strategic initiatives and long-term growth. Be innovative and creative, but open to understanding that sometimes things don't always make sense to implement at certain times.

Who You Are

• A hands-on culinary leader with proven experience overseeing multi-unit or high-volume operations.
• Strong in systems, communication, training, and cross-team collaboration.
• Experienced in modern, ingredient-driven cooking and excited to innovate.
• Able to balance creativity with cost-management and operational excellence.
• Ability to grow strong teams because you understand they are a reflection of you and your success depends on them. In other words, you aren't an asshole and you show respect to your teams. There is no place for old school kitchen ego dominance. You earn respect by teaching and supporting your teams daily.
