Qualifications

The Controller has responsibility for supporting all accounting activities at the plant level and will act as a member of the Plant Management Team. Activities include:

  • Business partner for Operations, Engineering, and other functional leaders, provider of important information and analysis to drive decision making
  • P&L and Balance Sheet analysis and ownership
  • Maintains the data integrity and accuracy for the General Ledger, Inventory Control, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables
  • Tracks and reports financial performance during the year
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Finance in the preparation of operating plans, forecasts, outlooks, and capital budgets
  • Participates in implementing company directed policies and procedures as needed and interfaces with the corporate accounting staff to coordinate the Company's annual external audit

The Controller plays a key role in assisting the Corporate Controller & Director of Finance to ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP requirements.

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance & accounting functions of the local operations.
  • Responsible for implementing and monitoring financial controls (policy & procedures and internal controls)
  • Lead, plan, and direct accounting department staff
  • Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Month end close & reporting – updates/reviews cost accruals, analyses actual results vs budget/PY in production volumes, variable costs, yields, variances, fixed costs OWC and capex.
