Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently at events, banquets, or in dining areas, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Set up catering stations, banquet tables, and dining areas according to event specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering area, including utensils, serving dishes, and food storage spaces.
• Support dietary accommodations by understanding special dietary needs and handling food safely to prevent cross-contamination.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times.
• Replenish supplies during service periods to ensure smooth operation without delays.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and address guest inquiries promptly.
• Assist in packing up after events, including cleaning equipment and disposing of waste responsibly.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude.

Requirements

• Prior experience in fine dining or banquet service is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and clients.
• Experience serving food in various settings such as restaurants, catering events, or hospitality venues.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling practices.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
• Previous catering or banquet experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Barista experience or background in food industry roles is a plus for versatile support tasks.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
