Position: Sous Chef

Schedule: Full-time, nights and weekends required

Compensation: $55k-$65k depending on experience + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and

efficient service

• Oversee food prep, cooking, and plating, ensuring quality and consistency
• Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and maintaining a positive team

dynamic

• Ensure food safety standards and cleanliness are upheld
• Assist in ordering supplies and managing inventory
• Collaborate on menu planning and development of new dishes
• Handle high-volume cooking with attention to detail and care

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a steakhouse or

tavern setting

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Passion for food and culinary excellence
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with grilling, steaks, and traditional tavern fares are a plus
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
