Job Summary
The General Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel. This position requires a strong focus on guest services, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional experiences throughout their stay. The General Manager will lead the team, manage budgets, and maintain high standards of customer service while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk management, guest relations, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
  • Lead and mentor staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence in service.
  • Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on customer service standards and hotel policies.
  • Coordinate night audits to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest services and improve overall hotel performance.
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Foster relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and positive reviews.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel management.
  • Strong background in guest services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Proficient in budgeting and financial management within a hotel setting.
  • Experience with human resources functions, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations and night audit procedures is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58, $65,000.00 per year
