Server

**Duties**

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner

• Present menus to guests and answer any questions regarding menu items

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly

• Enter orders into the Toast POS system for kitchen preparation

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner

• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any concerns or requests

• Upsell menu items and promote seasonal items to increase sales

• Process guest payments using cash, credit cards, or other accepted methods

• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area

• Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests

**Requirements:**

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred

• Familiarity with OpenTable reservation system is a plus

• Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately

• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members

• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
