Territory Manager:
We are seeking a Territory Manager to expand the Pinellas County and surrounding markets. The main job function will be to establish new commercial / builder / multi-family business.
Essential Functions:
· Continually work the territory to seek out new business opportunities
· Secure orders from existing and potential customers
· Seek out opportunities to quote on customer flooring needs
· Follow up on quotations submitted to customers
· Establish professional customer relationships with appropriate contact personnel
· Plan daily schedule and effectively work your territory
· Prepare and deliver samples to customers
· Bring samples to customers as part of our "Shop-at-Home" program
· Perform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory
· Provide a territory sales forecast on a monthly basis
· Perform assigned duties with minimum personal supervision
Position Summary:
Day to day sales activity will include prospecting, following up on leads and contacting existing clients established through various sales channels. Your target markets will include multi-family, assisted living, builders, property management and other commercial base accounts. Product offerings will include all flooring types; carpet, laminate, waterproof flooring, tile, VCT, hardwood, etc.
Job Requirements:
Individuals with prior flooring or similar sales experience in the commercial sector is preferred, however not a necessity for the right candidate.

· Relationship builder with a strong work ethic
· Outstanding customer service skills
· Problem-solving skills with a habit of being proactive
· Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, team player and personable
· Ability to successfully build and manage a territory
· Strong prospector and closer
· Intermediate computer skills
· The ability to think "outside the box"
