Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
  • Present menus, recommend dishes, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
  • Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards in the restaurant environment
  • Support team members with bussing tables, resetting stations, and maintaining a clean dining area to promote smooth operations

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation procedures, and food safety regulations
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions
  • Experience with culinary processes or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
