Electrician Helper

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our dynamic construction and electrical installation team. In this role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various project sites. Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installing wiring, conduit, and electrical components on construction sites
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, and secure electrical materials according to project specifications
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate installation and troubleshooting
• Help with the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and ensure system integrity
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by handling materials safely and disposing of debris properly
• Support the inspection process by assisting in verifying proper wiring connections and system functionality

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as an electrician helper or in related construction roles is highly preferred
• Familiarity with industrial electrician practices and commercial electrical systems
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters
• Knowledge of low voltage systems, high voltage safety protocols, and NEC standards
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety procedures and teamwork
• Basic frame carpentry skills are a plus for supporting structural work related to electrical installations

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
