Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting
• Previous host/host or serving experience is preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $2.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 35.0 per week
