HOURLY - General Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and responsible individual to join our team as an Evening Janitorial General Cleaner for a professional medical office located in Eden, North Carolina. This is a part-time position with consistent evening hours, perfect for someone looking for supplemental income or manageable work outside of standard business hours.

• Hours: Monday through Friday, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM (2.5 hours per night)

• Total Weekly Hours: 12.5 hours

• Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour

The primary duties involve providing high-quality, consistent cleaning services to maintain a clean, sanitary, and professional environment within the medical facility. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Restroom Sanitation: Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and restocking paper products and soap dispensers.

• Surface Disinfection: Wiping down and disinfecting high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, countertops) in exam rooms, waiting areas, and offices.

• Waste Management: Emptying all trash receptacles and replacing liners.

• Floor Care: Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping hard floor surfaces.

• General Cleaning: Dusting all horizontal surfaces, cleaning glass doors/windows, and spot cleaning walls.

• Supply Management: Reporting any needed repairs or supply shortages to the supervisor.

• Experience: Prior professional cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred, especially in a medical or office setting.

• Reliability: Must be highly dependable and punctual, committed to working the required 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow a detailed cleaning schedule and ensure all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

• Discretion: Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working within a medical environment.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 35 lbs), and perform physical cleaning tasks for the duration of the shift.

• Background Check: Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
