Position Summary
Are you a recent college graduate ready to launch your leadership career in manufacturing? Our client is seeking driven, hands-on leaders to join its Emerging Leader/Manager Trainee Program. This is a fast-track opportunity designed to develop future Plant Managers through immersive, real-world experience in one of the largest and most respected textile operations in the U.S.
You'll start by learning our core production processes, managing frontline teams, and solving real operational challenges. With strong performance, you'll move quickly into higher leadership roles—gaining the technical, operational, and people management experience needed to run a plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of 15–25 production employees to meet daily safety, quality, and production goals.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of our manufacturing processes, including equipment, systems, and controls.
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to drive efficiency.
- Learn how to coach, motivate, and manage hourly associates, applying appropriate feedback and accountability measures.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with your team and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Gain hands-on experience with our quality control systems and material testing equipment.
- Manage daily labor and attendance tracking using Kronos Time & Attendance software.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
- Recent college graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong desire to lead people and drive results in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work in a plant-based, hands-on role with 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow—fast.
- Previous internship or work experience in manufacturing or leadership roles is a plus.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for a full 12-hour shift.
- Must be willing to work night shifts to gain experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production environment.
- Must wear required PPE and follow all safety guidelines.
- The environment is moderately noisy and requires frequent interaction with machines and production equipment.
