Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision.
• May handle food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches, pastries, and other offerings while maintaining food safety standards.
• Operate Toast POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee area, including food handling stations and seating areas.
• Follow food safety protocols
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs.
• Support team members in serving customers efficiently while demonstrating excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Uphold all health regulations related to food industry standards.

Experience

• Previous barista experience is required
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in retail or food service environments.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in coffee preparation and the food industry
• Creativity is a must, experience in menu development
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Join us to be part of our team
