Production & Field Ops Coordinator

Superior Fence & Rail is seeking a Production & Field Support Specialist to serve as the critical link between our warehouse, office, and installation crews. This role is essential to keeping jobs running smoothly - ensuring materials are ordered correctly, inventory is managed proactively, and installers have the support they need to complete jobs right the first time.

This is a highly organized, detail-driven role for someone who thrives on coordination, problem-solving, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Materials & Ordering

• Review job breakdowns and material requirements for accuracy
• Order standard stock materials and special-order materials from approved vendors
• Track purchase orders, delivery dates, and backorders
• Confirm all materials are received correctly and on time
• Submit delivery receipts and documentation accurately

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and par levels
• Identify low-stock items and reorder proactively
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure materials are staged correctly for upcoming jobs
• Track extra/returned materials and ensure proper restocking

Field Support & Liaison

• Act as the primary point of contact for installers when material or job-related issues arise
• Help troubleshoot field issues related to materials, specs, or staging
• Communicate clearly between installers, warehouse staff, and operations team
• Ensure issues are documented and resolved promptly to avoid repeat problems

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail - accuracy is non-negotiable
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• Experience with materials ordering, inventory, warehouse operations, or construction coordination preferred
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Comfortable communicating with both office staff and field crews
• Spanish-speaking ability strongly preferred
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, systems tracking)
• Forklift experience or certification a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55, $65,000.00 per year
