Duties

• Safely operate various types of vehicles including box trucks and drivers to deliver products efficiently across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed
• Plan and follow optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during drop-offs and pickups
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and load/unload records to ensure accountability

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional communication abilities
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including heavy lifting, moving, and equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving and route driving preferred
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and cargo handling
• Physical stamina for lifting heavy items regularly and working in a fast-paced environment
