Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Assist to meet dietary needs and preferences
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation in compliance with food safety regulations
• Perform food preparation tasks including chopping, cooking, plating, and garnishing
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including equipment cleaning and organization
• Support catering events and special meal services as needed
• Demonstrate knife skills and culinary techniques to enhance meal presentation
• Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and friendly food service
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred
• Background in fine dining, restaurant service, or the food industry is highly desirable
• Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Strong culinary skills including knife proficiency and meal presentation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Prior experience with menu planning, catering, or serving is a plus
