Position Summary:

The Security Protective Agent is entrusted with ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors through vigilant patrolling and continuous monitoring of assigned locations. This position demands a proactive stance on risk mitigation and the prevention of unauthorized activities, including theft, violence, and violations of company policies. Key responsibilities may include conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining static security posts both indoors and outdoors, responding to medical emergencies, operating security screening technologies for access control, and supporting client management or human resources as needed. The role may also involve special assignments as directed. Due to the nature of the position, travel to various client sites is required; therefore, reliable transportation is essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine patrols both by personal vehicle and on foot of client properties to detect and deter unauthorized access, prevent theft, vandalism, and identify suspicious behavior or potential threats.
  • Respond and investigate suspicious activity on property.
  • Respond to alarms on property both fire and intrusion, making appropriate notifications to emergency services, fire, police, and client.
  • Monitor and utilize security technology to control facility access for employees, visitors, and contractors at client's facilities and to prevent entry of prohibited items.
  • Document daily activities and incidents in detailed reports during shifts. Escalate any incident that may require an emergency response to client and Wolff SRM management.
  • Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Maintain a highly professional presence and manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with all client's company policies and protocols.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of law enforcement, military, or executive protection experience, or minimum 10 years of security or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic patrol techniques.
  • Ability to conduct investigations (i.e., theft, fraud, workplace violence)
  • Candidate must be certified or able to become certified, willing, and able to carry a firearm for various assignments that may require it.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications are a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification highly desirable or able to obtain.
  • Strong observational, reporting, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations and utilize de-escalation techniques.
  • Familiarity with standard security protocols and emergency response procedures.

Knowledge Areas:

  • Solid foundational knowledge of security operations, including the use of relevant equipment, procedures, and strategies to ensure the effective protection of individuals, property, and assets.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality service that promotes client satisfaction and trust.
  • Knowledge of criminal law as it pertains to private security operations and responsibilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
