Responsible for the delivery of professional nursing services for all phases of obstetrics care from ante- through postpartum, which will address the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient/family. Accountable for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Provides care within an assigned unit, and coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Serves as a nursing resource to the facility with the ability to provide care in a variety of inpatient areas/units.Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

Required Education and Experience

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• 1 or more years Labor and Delivery or NICU experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor Degree Nursing Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Previous NICU experience.

Required Licensure and Certification

• Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Single State - State Board of Nursing with eligibility to work in the state of MO.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months of hire/
