POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is focused on new business development, as well as maintaining and growing existing customer relations. You will identify prospective customers, initiate contact, understand their logistics needs, negotiate pricing, and close new warehousing and transportation contracts.
You'll work closely with our operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term customer success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospect and generate new business through outbound calls, email outreach, networking, and referrals
- Target businesses requiring warehousing, 3PL, fulfillment, or transportation services
- Qualify leads and understand customer logistics requirements
- Prepare pricing, negotiate rates, and close new contracts
- Coordinate with operations to onboard new customers successfully
- Maintain CRM records and track pipeline activity
- Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat and expanded business
- Identify value add opportunities with existing customers, and nurture customer relationships.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary: $60,000 per year
- Commission: Annual Discretionary bonus up to $30K based on performance
- Performance-based earning potential of $65K-95K+

QUALIFICATIONS
- B2B sales experience (logistics, transportation, warehousing, or industrial services preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable with cold outreach and business development
- CRM experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet local clients as needed
