Overview
As a Project Manager, you will report to the VP of Information Systems and will be joining a team of QAs, SAs and Developers. You will be responsible for working with the department heads of the supported programs (Workers Comp, Commercial and Property Insurance) to prioritize tasks and projects into two week sprints. You will lead the planning and implementation of projects, including system upgrades, and software deployments. You will need to ensure that projects/sprints are on track and communicate any risks to on-time delivery. You will also be responsible for holding project post-mortems to determine what works and to help continually improve processes and procedures where needed.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Manage requests and production incidents from department heads and business users.
  • Sprint planning and prioritization based on business needs.
  • Ensure that project team is on track to meet deadlines and raise concerns as needed.
  • Own projects throughout the full life cycle from inception to support.
  • Build and Deliver Project Plans.
  • Communicate project updates to leadership team.
  • Liaise between the business and the IS team and assist the Systems Analyst in translating requests into technical requirements for the developers.

About You

  • Experience in managing multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in leading project teams
  • Current PMP Certification or equivalent experience
  • Workers Comp, General Liability and Property Insurance knowledge is a plus

Compensation And Benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
