Plenium Builders is a full-service general contractor. The firm combines the expertise and precision craftsmanship of a true builder with the powerhouse resources and time-tested risk management processes of a professional general contractor. Capabilities include construction management, preconstruction, estimating, permit assistance, critical path scheduling and logistical planning. Plenium Builders' portfolio covers industrial, manufacturing, multi-family and student housing, schools, custom homes, resorts and hospitality, offices, retail, and civic projects, ranging from $200,000 to $80,000,000. Over its ten-year history, Plenium Builders' team has grown to 80 employees, serving the Northern California and Northern Nevada markets on a variety of projects totaling $80,000,000 in volume per year.

• Though Plenium Builders is based in Sparks, NV (next door to Reno, NV), our carpenters and laborers are assigned to projects in locations throughout the Washoe County and Carson City areas. Project assignments also include adjacent counties and locations around Northern Nevada, Northern California, Truckee, Olympic Valley, and the North Shore and South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Projects include a mix of residential and commercial work.
• If offered employment, you are required to submit to pre-employment drug screening. We use a well-trained, professional testing agency which tests with a high degree of accuracy and which can spot fraud.
• Safety awareness, acceptance and competency in complying with OSHA and other construction site rules, policies, and procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team achieving a common goal, with good communication skills and a positive/cooperative attitude; ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques, tools and installation as well as how carpentry activities intersect with other, adjacent trades' work (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, etc.)
• Understanding of building construction schedules and ability to work within and toward productivity targets set by foremen and superintendents
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and other drawings as well as basic record keeping and reporting
• Survey and layout capabilities including use of digital and manual measurement techniques
• Ability to measure, cut, shape, construct, assemble and generally build rough carpentry such as wall framing, door bucks, in-wall backing, temporary structures, formwork, floor blockouts, safety railings and ramps, and other similar building components
• Installation and trim of finish carpentry items such as cabinetry, doors, trims, paneling, hardware, shelving, accessories, and similar installation or assembly with a high level of artisanship
