Now Hiring: Senior Embedded Software Engineer for Next-Generation EV Charging Systems
We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team working on the next generation of electric vehicle (EV) charging technology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of sustainable transportation by developing advanced embedded systems for high-power EV chargers.
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Design, develop, and optimize embedded software for real-time control of EV charging systems.
- Architect and implement firmware solutions that ensure high performance, reliability, and safety.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with power electronics and control systems.
- Implement algorithms for energy management, system diagnostics, and communication protocols.
- Lead architectural decisions and guide software design strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and enhance development processes and best practices.
- Perform debugging, validation, and testing to ensure the software meets performance and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in power electronics, automotive, or industrial applications.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and real-time embedded applications.
- Familiarity with embedded Linux development (e.g., Yocto Project).
- Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, UART, SPI, etc.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Understanding of power conversion principles and experience working with power electronics.
- Experience working on EV charging systems or related automotive applications.
- Knowledge of safety-critical systems and compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles in embedded systems.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
