Job Description
Sr. Project Managers at ELLKAY are accountable for driving the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional projects across the ELLKAY product suite, ensuring high-quality outcomes that support healthcare clients' evolving needs. This role combines hands-on project leadership with people development and process improvement. In addition to directly managing high-priority client implementations, Sr. PMs serve as mentors and escalation points for other project managers, helping to continuously elevate the performance and impact of the broader delivery team.

Ideal candidates bring deep experience in healthcare technology, exceptional organizational and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence both internal and client teams. The Sr. PM ensures delivery excellence, cultivates strong client relationships, and drives innovation in implementation practices and team operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Delivery Leadership

  • Oversee the successful implementation of solutions in the ELLKAY product suite.
  • Oversee full lifecycle implementation of complex healthcare data, interoperability, or migration projects, including planning, execution, and deployment across multiple ELLKAY product lines.
  • Lead high-impact client engagements that require advanced technical knowledge, cross-department coordination, and strategic stakeholder alignment.
  • Own project planning and execution: create detailed project plans, manage resource allocation, track milestones, and ensure on-time, in-scope delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications and status updates with internal and external stakeholders, including executive sponsors.
  • Manage and resolve risks, issues, scope changes, and interdependencies across technology, business, and client functions.
  • Define and enforce success criteria across projects; ensure high client satisfaction and alignment with contractual deliverables.

People Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and operational support to project managers and junior staff within the department.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for project and client issues that require elevated attention.
