Hermes Landscaping is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our award-winning commercial construction landscape team. This key position is responsible for expanding our commercial construction client base and driving growth in the landscape construction sector. Here's what we're looking for:

  • Kansas City Expertise
    – A deep understanding of the Kansas City area, including local commercial landscape needs and key industry players.
  • Relationship Builder
    – Strong ability to develop lasting connections with commercial clients, architects, and contractors, tailoring solutions to their needs.
  • Driven Sales Leader
    – Results-focused with a proven track record of identifying opportunities, generating leads, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Project Execution Expert
    – Knowledgeable in landscape construction processes, managing proposals, and ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Industry Expertise
    – Stay on top of the latest commercial landscaping trends, materials, and best practices, offering cutting-edge solutions that align with client needs.
  • Experience with Commercial Exterior Sub Work
    – Proven experience in selling commercial exterior subcontractor work, with the ability to bring in new business and manage key accounts.
  • Plans & Specifications Expertise
    – Ability to read and understand complex plans and specifications, ensuring accurate project execution.
  • Analytical Thinker
    – Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess and solve problems efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within commercial landscape construction or related industries.
  • Knowledge of commercial landscaping, hardscaping, and site development processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build and manage long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
