Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all inventory, food prep operations, receiving procedures, quality control, employee performance, and cleanliness within the warehouse. This role ensures that all products are prepped correctly, orders are received accurately, and supplies are distributed to all Tiago's Tacos locations with zero shortages.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Ordering

  • Manage all inventory levels for the warehouse and all 6 restaurant locations.
  • Ensure stock counts are accurate daily and weekly.
  • Communicate shortages, overstock, and re-order needs in real time.
  • Rotate product properly and reduce waste.

Prep Operations

  • Ensure ALL food preparation follows Tiago's Tacos standards, recipes, and portioning guidelines.
  • Verify that every item is prepped correctly, labeled, dated, and stored properly.
  • Oversee prep staff and confirm productivity, accuracy, and quality.

Receiving & Verification

  • Receive deliveries from vendors and verify that every item is correct before signing.
  • Check quantities, item quality, expiration dates, and completeness of each order.
  • Reject incorrect or damaged products and report issues immediately.
  • Ensure all invoices are checked off 100% accurately—nothing missing, nothing extra.

Distribution to Restaurants

  • Organize outgoing orders for all Tiago's Tacos locations.
  • Confirm each box, case, and container is labeled and counted properly.
  • Ensure deliveries leave the warehouse complete and on schedule daily.

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Supervise all warehouse and prep employees.
  • Assign tasks, enforce standards, and ensure all team members stay productive.
  • Train new employees and correct performance issues immediately.
  • Maintain a positive, disciplined, and efficient work environment.

Cleanliness & Food Safety

  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Make sure employees follow cleaning checklists daily.
  • Enforce proper food safety, storage, sanitation, and temperature control.

Requirements

  • 2+ years warehouse, inventory, or food production management experience (restaurant/food industry preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail — must catch mistakes and prevent shortages.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to enforce standards.
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
