FedEx Ground Delivery Driver

Limestone Logistics is contracted by FedEx Ground for pick up and delivery operations. We are currently hiring for commercial drivers to work as a delivery driver on a 22' step van and 26' straight truck.

PREVIOUS COMMERCIAL DRIVING EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED, but not required.

The right candidate will have delivery experience (like Doordash, Amazon, UPS, etc.), be self-motivated, enjoy driving, delivering packages in all weather conditions, working with minimal supervision, and also willing to work as a team when needed.

This position is very physical with boxes weighing up to 150 lbs. Desire to work hard at a good pace is necessary.

Our fleet is well maintained mostly 2022 step vans and newer.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a 22' delivery vehicle to transport and deliver packages to customers
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as dolly.
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunction
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
• 1 Year of Driving Experience of a commercial vehicle (not your own car)
• Must pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer)
• Must pass a background check
• Physically able to handle packages up to 150 lbs. Dollys are provided.
• Must be willing and able to commute to the terminal located at 11000 Toebben Drive Independence, KY Please map this before applying to be sure commute works for you.

Pay: Pay is by day (not hourly). Paid weekly via direct deposit.

Typical Work Hours: 8:30 am -until your route is finished.

Available Schedules: Part time or Full time. We DO NOT offer Monday-Friday schedules. Part time is 2-4 days per week, full time is 5-6 days per week. Every day starts at 8:30. We are specifically looking for drivers with weekend availability.
