The PACE Administrative Assistant is responsible for:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Provides administrative support to other members of PACE leadership as needed.
  • Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Coordinate and support meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing follow-ups.

What is PACE?

PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states.

The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.

You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience, ideally supporting a senior executive or director.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license, unlimited access to reliable transportation, and adequate automobile insurance maintained throughout employment.  
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with board members, staff, and external partners
