What You'll Do

As a Security Officer with Security Dash, you'll be on the front lines, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' people and assets while consistently delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires vigilance, quick thinking, and a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactive Security Patrols: Conduct thorough and regular patrols of assigned areas, both on foot and via vehicle, to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security risks.
• Advanced System Monitoring: Effectively monitor and operate sophisticated security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control platforms, promptly responding to any alerts or anomalies.
• Access Control Management: Precisely manage and verify access for visitors, employees, and vendors, ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas while providing a welcoming and professional first impression.
• Incident Response & Management: Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and other incidents, following established protocols to de-escalate situations and ensure safety.
• Detailed Documentation: Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, maintaining meticulous records for future reference.
• Collaborative Partnership: Work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and internal teams when necessary, providing support and information to resolve situations efficiently.
• Customer Service Excellence: Serve as a visible and approachable point of contact, assisting visitors and employees with inquiries, providing directions, and upholding a positive and helpful presence.

What We're Looking For

We're searching for individuals who are not only capable but also genuinely committed to a career in security.

Must-Haves:

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Background & Driving Record: A clean criminal background check and a solid driving record are essential.
• Communication & Problem-Solving: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with a strong ability to assess situations, think critically, and solve problems under pressure.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, and perform duties that may require light lifting or physical exertion.
• Availability: Willingness and availability to work overnight shifts (6 pm-6 am), weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications (These are a plus, but we can train you):

• Security Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with standard security equipment and technology (e.g., CCTV, access control systems).
