Project Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations on construction sites, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Oversee project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and adjusting plans as needed.
• Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a secure work environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify project accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
• Monitor project budgets and perform cost control activities to keep projects financially on track.
• Supervise on-site personnel, providing clear direction, supervising work quality, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Review contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements to ensure compliance with project scope and legal requirements.
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify workmanship meets specified standards; address issues promptly to prevent delays.
• Utilize construction site experience to troubleshoot issues proactively, including the use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary.
• Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, safety records, inspection reports, and communication logs for transparency and accountability.

Skills

• Proven track record in construction site supervision with strong management and supervising experience.
• Deep understanding of construction management principles including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
• Familiarity with contracts administration and change order processes to manage project scope effectively.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating teams, stakeholders, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $70,000.00 per year
