We are currently seeking a licensed Unarmed Security Officer in Charlotte, NC, to represent CyberStorm Defense during a mandatory pre-bid site visit for an upcoming North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) facility contract.
This opportunity may extend into a full-time security role following award.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will:

• Attend the mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting on behalf of CyberStorm Defense

• Represent CyberStorm Defense professionally during the meeting and sign the official attendance sheet.
• Be considered for continued employment as the on-site Unarmed Security Officer following contract award.

Mandatory Minimum Qualifications

All candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered.
Applications that do not include verification of credentials will not be reviewed.

• Active North Carolina Unarmed Security Guard License (PPSB Certified) – License copy must be uploaded with your resume.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• No criminal convictions and ability to pass state background investigation and drug screening.
• Availability to attend the mandatory site visit on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
• Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with government security standards.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts.
• Strong verbal communication, writing, and observation skills.
• Dependable and punctual with strong attention to detail and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Attend and document the mandatory site visit as the authorized representative of CyberStorm Defense.
• Provide unarmed physical security services at a State facility (post-award).
• Conduct access control, visitor management, and interior/exterior patrols.
• Prepare accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident documentation.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities, hazards, or safety concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality of all facility and personnel information.
• Adhere to CyberStorm Defense and State facility policies at all times.

Compensation & Terms

• Hourly Rate: $25 – $30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
• Additional stipend for confirmed attendance at the mandatory on-site meeting.
• Long-term opportunity available following contract award (40–55 hours/week).
• Employment type: Full-time or Part-time (W-2 or 1099 options).
