**Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer**

**Pay Rate:** $20 per hour

**Job Description:**

Museum of Tolerance is seeking professional and reliable Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Security Officer is to ensure the safety and security of the museum's patrons, staff, exhibits, and property.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Patrol and monitor the museum premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

• Greet and screen visitors, providing excellent customer service and assistance as needed.

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergency situations, and disturbances, following established protocols.

• Collaborate with museum staff to enforce policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.

• Prepare and submit daily activity reports and incident reports as required.

• Assist with crowd control during special events and high-traffic times.

• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address security risks or potential hazards.

**Requirements:**

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent observational and communication skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
