Cargill operates in 70 countries with 160,000 employees, and their digital products touch billions of people every day. They're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help lead the technical direction of their B2B customer-facing portal.

You'll guide architecture, influence engineering standards, and build scalable features that directly impact global customers. The role spans React, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, microservices, and modern CI/CD tooling, with opportunities to mentor engineers and shape the long-term technical roadmap.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead technical design and development for new portal features
• Build high-quality software using React, Java, and Spring Boot
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, SAP, Data, and Boomi
• Improve performance, scalability, and platform reliability
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance
• Contribute to code, documentation, and architectural decisions
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and remove blockers
• Recommend and drive improvements to development and deployment processes

What you'll need:

• 4+ years engineering experience (5+ preferred)
• Strong experience in B2B platform engineering
• Background with React, Java, and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, Salesforce, Cypress, Sonar, OpenSearch, and AWS
• Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals and scalable system design
• Comfortable with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and backlog tools
• Strong collaboration skills across wide technical domains
