Network Engineer Salary £49,000 p/a Hybrid role with occasional travel to our Nottingham Head Office, clubs which are UK wide and data centres. We're looking for a passionate, proactive Network Engineer to join our IT team and help power the systems our customers rely on every day, both in club and online. You'll take ownership of our network infrastructure and play a key part in both BAU operations and exciting, business?wide projects. From day one, you'll have real impact and real responsibility. To succeed here, you'll need: Strong technical skills in: Juniper SRX & switching Cisco firewalls & switching Palo Alto / FortiGate technologies Cisco Meraki Network routing, security & troubleshooting Hardware replacement and physical device support Plus the mindset to match: Excellent communication able to translate technical issues for any audience A proactive approach to identifying and resolving root causes A passion for learning and adopting new technologies Flexibility to support major incidents outside core hours Strong documentation skills and attention to detail A positive “can?do” attitude and a collaborative nature A full driving licence (travel required across sites) Experience with ITIL, or industry?specific systems (bingo/gambling), is a bonus.
