Talenthub are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to help shape and scale high-traffic consumer mobile applications for one of our clients, used by millions of users. This role sits within a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering organisation spanning mobile, web, and data, operating at meaningful scale.
You’ll play a key role in the evolution of cross-platform iOS and Android applications, contributing not just code but technical direction, quality standards, and team capability. This is an opportunity for an experienced React Native engineer who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and building polished user experiences.
*What You’ll Be Doing:*
* Taking technical ownership of cross-platform mobile applications from development through release
* Working closely with product, design, and engineering peers to deliver intuitive, high-quality features
* Translating design concepts into production-ready interfaces, including animations and fine-grained interactions
* Championing code quality, testing, and release confidence across the mobile stack
* Improving and maintaining build, release, and deployment pipelines
* Contributing to engineering standards, technical decision-making, and best practices
* Supporting and mentoring other engineers across the team
* Keeping pace with emerging trends, tools, and patterns in mobile development
*What We’re Looking For:*
* Significant commercial experience building *React Native* applications in production environments
* Strong proficiency in *TypeScript* and JavaScript
* In-depth knowledge of the React Native ecosystem, including performance optimisation and native integrations
* Proven experience delivering pixel-accurate implementations from modern design tools
* Familiarity with contemporary development workflows such as *Expo*, CI/CD, monorepos, and containerised or cloud-based infrastructure
* Experience developing *multiple apps*, working in *cross functional teams*
* Solid understanding of frontend architecture, rendering behaviour, and client-server interactions
* Confidence providing technical leadership and raising engineering standards
* Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across disciplines
* Pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with high attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £85,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
