Attention Reach Truck Operators! Our thriving logistics facility in Denver, Colorado, is looking for experienced professionals to join our team. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our reach trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. We pride ourselves on a strong safety culture, providing ongoing training and all necessary PPE to ensure a secure work environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move and stack merchandise in high-bay racking systems.
- Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
- Accurately pick and replenish inventory based on system demands.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain organized and orderly storage of inventory, optimizing space utilization.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory verification as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including OSHA standards and company policies.
- Properly wear all required PPE at all times while operating equipment and in designated areas.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to work at heights and in varying temperature conditions.
- Commitment to safety and the use of PPE is paramount.
