In this position, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items to fulfill customer orders, contributing directly to our reputation for exceptional service. This role involves physical activity and requires a keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on pick lists or electronic orders.
- Utilize scanning devices to record picked items and update inventory levels.
- Inspect items for damage before packing and ensure proper handling.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to consistently perform lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
