We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Inventory Control Specialist for our Orlando, Florida warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including cycle counting, variance investigation, stock adjustments, and reporting. A strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control systems is crucial. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Process inventory adjustments in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure proper organization and labeling of all stored goods.
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Train staff on inventory control procedures and the importance of accuracy.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Tasks may involve moderate Lifting and movement of inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data and generate reports.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
