Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for efficiency? We are looking for a Picker/Packer to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is vital to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their products accurately and on time. You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists and then carefully packing them for shipment. A strong commitment to accuracy, speed, and workplace safety is essential. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order tickets.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in ongoing training related to warehouse operations and safety.
- Perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and bending.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics systems is a plus.
