Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements and shipment schedules.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, to prevent accidents.
- Assist in managing the overall logistics and flow of goods within the facility.
- Perform tasks involving lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy items regularly.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handler or warehouse role is required.
- Proven ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Excellent physical condition, with the ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable and committed to meeting deadlines.
