Our San Jose, California location is looking for a dedicated Material Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and management of materials within our warehouse. This includes receiving, staging, and transporting goods to various departments, ensuring that workflow is uninterrupted and that inventory is accurately managed. Your diligence in handling materials and commitment to Safety will be vital to our logistics operations. You will work with various equipment to facilitate material movement.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stage materials for production or shipping.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Ensure all materials are handled properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all Safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
- Perform tasks that may involve regular Lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting and moving of heavy items.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
