Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Washington, D.C.! This role is vital to our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, carefully packing them according to our standards, and ensuring all outgoing orders are correct and efficiently processed. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy in a dynamic logistics environment. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets or scanning devices.
- Inspect products for any defects or damage before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Verify order accuracy and quantities before sealing packages.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including some Lifting of packages.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Willingness to assist with moderate Lifting of items.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures.
