Our Orlando, Florida facility is looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to manage the inbound flow of goods. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing all incoming shipments, ensuring that our inventory levels are precise and that goods are ready for distribution. Your keen eye for detail and organizational skills will be paramount in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. You will be working closely with our logistics and inventory management teams to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks, verifying contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Stage incoming goods for put-away or direct distribution.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Safety guidelines and the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or inventory control role is a plus.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting and moving of materials.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
