Join our vibrant logistics hub in Houston, Texas, as a Warehouse Worker! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of our distribution center. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of essential tasks, including receiving and inspecting goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and assisting with loading and unloading trucks. Your dedication to Safety and efficiency will be key to our success. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the fast-paced world of logistics and supply chain management. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and rotation.
- Pick items accurately for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks, verifying correct orders and quantities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Operate material handling equipment as trained and certified, adhering to Safety guidelines.
- Must be able to perform consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE, ensuring proper fit and use.
- Support overall logistics functions and collaborate with colleagues to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and lift for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including occasional overtime.
