We are looking for a versatile Warehouse Associate to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is critical to the efficient operation of our warehouse and broader logistics network. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your adaptability, attention to detail, and dedication to safety will be essential. You will contribute to maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and on time. This is a hands-on position requiring physical stamina and a commitment to teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying accuracy against shipping documents.
- Stock products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Pick orders accurately based on customer requirements and sales orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support the logistics team with various operational duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate ability to perform frequent lifting and other physical tasks.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to warehousing and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength and stamina, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic inventory principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Experience with basic warehouse equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
