Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Orlando, Florida location. This pivotal role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is crucial for seamless logistics operations and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize stock inaccuracies and loss. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of inventory management systems and best practices within the logistics field. You will collaborate closely with warehouse associates and management to maintain precise inventory data, contributing significantly to operational efficiency and cost reduction. A commitment to Safety and adherence to all warehouse protocols is essential. Your focus on accuracy directly supports the supply chain's effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Develop, implement, and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and reduce waste.
  • Monitor stock rotation, identify aged or obsolete inventory, and recommend disposition.
  • Coordinate with receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping teams to ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Generate and distribute regular inventory reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and promote a culture of Safety.
  • Provide guidance and training to warehouse staff on inventory-related processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderate physical exertion, including occasional Lifting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strict adherence to Safety protocols and requirements for wearing PPE.
