The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment. This includes managing staff, coordinating receiving and shipping activities, optimizing inventory control, and implementing process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and a proven track record of leadership in a Logistics setting. You will be expected to enforce company policies, including strict adherence to PPE regulations and promoting a culture of exceptional Safety . This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve operational issues promptly. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage and train warehouse staff.
- Oversee inventory management and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and PPE usage.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes for efficiency.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
- Facilitate regular Safety meetings and ensure proper handling of materials, which may include Lifting .
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or Logistics environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Ability to handle physical demands, including occasional heavy Lifting .
