Your duties will include unloading merchandise, verifying delivery contents against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and preparing items for put-away. - Unloading and receiving shipments from various carriers.
- Verifying product counts and descriptions against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspecting incoming goods for damage or defects.
- Documenting all receiving activities accurately.
- Tagging and staging received inventory for distribution.
- Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhering to all safety regulations, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
The ideal candidate will have some experience in a warehouse or receiving environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, are necessary. You will be expected to stand and walk for extended periods throughout your shift. Familiarity with basic computer systems for data entry is a plus. This role is key to our logistics flow, ensuring that our inventory is accurately accounted for from the moment it arrives. We prioritize safety in all aspects of our operations.
